US Coast Guard 40 Foot UTB (Utility Boat)
Model is 36 inches long, 11 inches high, & 10 inches wide.
Construction is plank on bulkhead of birch, beech & plywood.
Many of the parts are of brass.
This is a large scale display model that would do credit to your mantel or
credenza.
My interest in building this model was that I was a
salvage diver in the
recovery
of a like type boat that was sunk off of Rockport back in the mid 1970s.
