New England Pea Pod
Used on Northern US Coast Guard Light House
Model is 12 inches long, 1 1/2 inches high & 3 7/8 inches wide.
Construction is near to that of a full sized boat and of birch & beech.
This scale display model that would be an excellent conversation piece.

I once had one of these as a lifeboat on a buoy boat I ran and I
have used "pods" at numerous light houses Down East.
